Blood Orange (Devonté Hynes, b. 1985) is a singer, songwriter and author from Houston, Texas. He lives and works in New York City. Together with Rory Atwell and Sam Mehran he formed the indierock trio Test Icicles. As solo artist he is also known under the name Lightspeed Champion
