»These guys are sooo retro!«
Allah-Las make sun drenched surf-rock. The four guys are mostly inspired by music from the 1960s; also lyrically their music is rooted deeply in the past. The band takes being called »nostalgic« as a compliment but resists to be labeled »retro«. In our interview they explain why they found their own videos to be »bullshit«, what their very own Los Angeles smells like and what has been their »most retro« show ever.
