All City Records (Record label)
All City Records is a Dublin-based record label, founded in 2003 by Olan O’Brien. All City started of as a rap label, but became famous as one of the most interesting labels for instrumental hip hop. After O’Brien met Mike Slott and Hudson Mohawke in 2005 who introduced him to the radical and inspiring sound of young musicians in Glasgow the direction of the label changed completely. »I’d given up on hip-hop completely«, said O’Brien in an interview with The Irish Times in early 2011. Over the years All City Records released about 50 records. The label’s series »Los Angeles« introduced the European audience to the thrilling beat scene on the American west coast.

Fulgeance
»I don't want to limit myself«
Fulgeance is, amongst Onra and Häzel a part of the new generation of French beat makers. Variety marks his productions – everything seems to be thought through. Synthesizers, drums and the sounds in the background are arranged perfectly. Fulgeance proves that there is an appeal to simplicity. This producer has not reached his peak yet and will be surprising the international crowd with more of his beats.

It’s a record that resembles its creative process – it’s free, impulsive and spontaneous. It’s »therapeutic«, not only for its creators.
