Tony Allen (Musicians)
Tony Allen (b. 1949) is an Nigerian drummer and composer from Lagos. He lives and works in Paris. He was the drummer and musical director of Fela Kuti’s Band Africa 70 from 1968 to 1979. The musician Brian Eno named Allen once the one of the most important drummers of all time and one of the most extraordinary musician of our time.
