Following a heart attack and more than 20 years on the bass music scene, Music for Existing by Dutch producer Martyn feels almost like a rebirth. Adopting a new collaborative approach, he combines his previously rather private love of jazz with powerful club beats spanning dubstep, drum ’n’ bass and techno. This multi-layered fusion thus celebrates not only the community on the dancefloor, but also the magic of making music together.
