Piero Piccioni knew a thing or two about sex, drugs and mysterious murders. That’s why he was able to write a few songs about them throughout his life. That is, of course, a gross understatement: Piccioni has catapulted 300 gangster flicks out of the orchestra pit. More or less — at least enough to provide a soundtrack for the next few decades, for which you can take out Duolingo and feel like a suburban Al Capone after three rounds of Setscho.
