Five years after his untimely death, Peter Rehberg a.k.a. Pita’s legacy is being kept alive. 1999’s Get Out was the first in a series of loosely connected Get albums. Featuring his probably most famous piece—the third out of nine untitled tracks which are complemented by bonus tracks previously only available on a 2008 CD version and a short live recording—Get Out juxtaposes abrasive noise with shimmering textures. It is a towering achievement, a milestone in a legacy that should be kept alive at all costs.
