Priori – 9

On 9, Francis Latreille, alias Priori, pulls the focus together: less song logic, less opening of the system as with Jump Source, less sci-fi expanse than on This But More (2024). Instead: soundsystem enclave. Dub not as quotation, but as a contemporary club language. »Isolation Dub« grounds itself deeply, while one floats in the delay of the bass pressure. In the opener »Nesting Chamber«, Gavsborg, collaborator with Equiknoxx, pitches his voice beyond recognition, dancing over swampy-soft subs and dub chords. A voice that dissolves and still carries.
