Zoh Amba – Eyes Full

Zoh Amba, who has made a name for herself as a free-jazz saxophonist with a flair for improvisation, picks up the guitar – her first instrument – on Eyes Full. In terms of both sound and content, she returns to her roots in rural Tennessee. In raw, tender Americana songs that blend folk, blues, touches of noise and grunge, she sings of shattered dreams, social divides and people whose everyday lives otherwise receive little attention.
