Eddie Marcon is the project of Eddie Corman and Jules Marcon, who have been making music together since 2001. Carpet Of Fallen Leaves is both an introduction to their fragile folk-pop and a best-of from 22 years. This melodic sound has little in common with the noise and psych-rock of their other bands. Dreamy elements, guests on vibraphone, flute and pedal steel gently create atmosphere. Each song utilizes minimalist means to the maximum. »Tora To Lion« is a perfect example – and is also a fan favorite of The Notwist and The Pastels.
