Saba Alizadeh – Rituals of The Last dawn

Tehran-born Saba Alizadeh once again bridges the gap between the old and the new on Rituals of the Last Dawn. Less electronic than Temple of Hope, the album blends traditional Iranian sounds with contemporary forms. Two rituals – the first and the last – leave plenty of room for interpretation; despite its seemingly dystopian title, the album sounds almost conciliatory.
