Outrageous post-punk to fall in love with: Concrete Vehicles are going on tour

04.08.2026

Concrete Vehicles from Vancouver (then still known as Computer) demonstrated just how far post-punk could be pushed with their 2025 debut Station On The Hill. Within seconds, the seven-piece collective squeezed a wide variety of noise, experimental and math-rock elements out of this sound. Saxophone included. It was so new, so loud, so beautiful that it deserved a much wider audience.

Too Chaotic to play live

This was followed by rave reviews in major music magazines. And now Concrete Vehicles are coming to Europe in September for a series of gigs. The band’s concerts are just as breathless, powerful and impressive as their studio recordings. Yet Concrete Vehicles remain accessible within this sound. Overstimulating every second, without being overwhelming. Rather, everything flows together in their songs. The breaks, the changes of direction and the various harmonies all form part of a greater whole. The fact that Concrete Vehicles manage to maintain, combine and interweave all of this makes them one of the most exciting bands around at the moment.
