Bill Fay (1943-2025, London) was a British singer-songwriter and pianist. Since the late 1960s he wrote introspective folk rock with religious overtones and melancholic lyrics. After Bill Fay (1970) and Time of The Last Persecution (1971), he fell into obscurity before being rediscovered in 2005 with albums such as Tomorrow, Tomorrow & Tomorrow and Life Is People.
