Deafheaven is an American band from San Francisco, formed in 2010 by George Clarke and Kerry McCoy. The group is considered a style-defining combination of black metal with shoegaze and post-rock – often referred to as “blackgaze”. They received international attention with the albums ”Sunbather” (2013) and ”New Bermuda” (2015).
