Eric Dolphy

Eric Dolphy, born 1928 in Los Angeles, died 1964 in West Berlin, was an American jazz musician. Dolphy played various instruments, including flute, bass clarinet, alto saxophone and clarinet. He is considered an important pioneer of the jazz avant-garde of the 1960s.
