*Massive Attack is a British music project from Bristol, formed in 1988 by Robert Del Naja, Grant Marshall and Andrew Vowles. Pioneers of trip-hop, they combined hip-hop beats, dub, soul and electronic soundscapes. Albums such as Blue Lines (1991), Mezzanine (1998) and 100th Window* (2003) characterized the aesthetic of modern pop music.
