Robert Fripp

Robert Fripp (born 1946 in Wimborne Minster, Dorset) is a British guitarist, composer and producer. As the founder and longest-serving member of King Crimson, he has been a key figure in progressive rock since 1969. He is known for his precise style and for developing the guitar looping technique known as “Frippertronics”, and has also worked with Brian Eno, David Bowie, Talking Heads and David Sylvian. Fripp is the co-founder of the Discipline Global Mobile label and the initiator of the Guitar Craft teaching programme.
