Underground Quality

Underground Quality is a record label specializing in house music. It was founded by Edward McKeithen (Just-Ed) from Bridgeport, Connecticut in 2004. Originally, Underground Quality was a party concept designed in 2001 by Jus-Ed and DJ Vic Money, to expose unknown House music and House DJs. At first, the project began in 2002 as a radio show, streamed live from the Halcyon record store in New York City. DJ Vic Money drew back from the project in 2002 and Jus-Ed completely took over and made Underground Quality into a record label in 2004. This record label quickly built up a very good reputation amongst house music disciples. Jus-Ed insists that his label’s name – Underground Quality – ‘does exactly what it says on the tin’. Indeed the categories >>deep<>minimal<< are brought together in a remarkable way. A highly relevant contribution to the genre of House music.
