Nyron Higor will be performing live at Knust in Hamburg on 17 March and at Arkaoda in Berlin on 13 March. The Brazilian-born producer and multi-instrumentalist has been moving between Latin American sound traditions, broken beats and finely balanced ambient textures for years. He presents his music live in a setting that focuses less on intensification and more on openness, continuing Brazilian music culture in a personal way rather than simply quoting it.
Suspended chords, gently shifted
Higor’s sound is characterised by warmth and restraint: floating chords, gently shifting rhythms, a groove that slowly takes shape and gently intensifies. His live performances feel like fleeting snapshots – organic, permeable and unexcited. The concert evening at Knust is all about movement, groove and a restrained, atmospheric intimacy.
