Afro-Dub ist eine britisch geprägte Fusion aus Dub-Ästhetik und afrikanischer Rhythmik, die Anfang der 1980er-Jahre im Umfeld von On-U Sound entstand. Prägend sind analoge Produktion, Bass, Echo- und Delay-Effekte, rituelle Percussion und eine spirituelle Atmosphäre; zentral ist u. a. das Projekt African Head Charge.
