With her current album Adagio, Greek singer-songwriter Stella Chronopoulou, aka Σtella, takes things literally slow. It all began with a boat trip to the Aegean island of Anafi and a melody she couldn’t get out of her head. The result was the track »Omorfo Mou« – »my beautiful one« – which marks her first time singing in Greek. Across nine songs and thirty minutes, the album explores themes of love and letting go, of closeness and distance, all while evoking a longing for a soft Mediterranean breeze.
