The Sample Music Festival is celebrating its tenth anniversary and will once again demonstrate its importance as an international platform for turntablism, finger drumming and performance technologies at the House of Music Berlin from 18 to 20 July 2025. The programme includes showcases, panels and the Finger Drumming World Championship – with international acts such as Mad Zach, DJ Iron and DJ Chederac. Brands such as Yamaha, LANDR and Ableton will also be represented; a beat battle will be organised in cooperation with BEAT UNIT.

Turntablism in close contact

As part of the Sample Music Festival, the HHV Store in Grünberger Straße in Berlin-Friedrichshain will host an exclusive session on Friday, July 18th, 2025. Starting at 2 pm, Tim Kroker (Yamaha) and NelsonX, reigning German DMC Champion, will demonstrate their skills on the pads and turntables. DJ performances by Sane’s Medicine, Hawt Coco and Pancho Trackmann will follow at 3 pm. Entry is free.
