Much-lauded Brooklyn-born and London-based hip-hop artist Goya Gumbani drops his new album »Warlord of the Weejuns« on April 11, 2025, marking his debut for Ghostly International. The album expands his sound with full-band arrangements, blending New York rap flows with the influence of London’s nu-jazz scene. Guest features include Fatima (a key figure in the East London scene), Seafood Sam, lojii, and Yaya Bey. Fatima appears on two tracks, including »Firefly«, an emotive RnB piece exploring the rawness of a breakup.
A Reason to Celebrate
A highly limited edition of »Warlord of the Weejuns« (only 150 copies) on cloudy cognac vinyl, including a signed art print by Goya Gumbani, is available exclusively at HHV Records. To mark the occasion, we’re celebrating with a release party on April 11, 2025, at the HHV Store in Grünberger Straße, Berlin-Friedrichshain. Gumbani will be there and also perform.
