On 19 September 2025, Sofie Royer will perform at the Bi Nuu in Berlin – as part of her festival and club tour through Germany and Switzerland. Prior to that, the musician was on her first US tour.
The Iranian-Austrian cosmopolitan Sofie Royer, who grew up in Los Angeles, now lives in Vienna. She first became known as a violinist in Viennese ensembles, as a Boiler Room LA host and through radio residencies on NTS and Rinse FM. For about four years, she has been releasing dreamy, danceable pop under her own name – in three languages.

Synths longing slow sway
Joining her on tour is her 2024 studio album Young-Girl Forever, which enjoys particular popularity in her top streaming cities, Berlin and Los Angeles. Critics are also convinced: The Guardian praised the album as an elegant homage to old-school European glamour.
Anyone who’s followed her recent Instagram stories knows what to expect: an energetic 80s-inspired show – somewhere between the dancefloor, melancholic slow-motion swaying and headbanging to Sofie Royer’s violin solos.
