On 19 October, the Japanese producer will be behind the turntables as part of the Enjoy Jazz Festival in Mannheim. A week later, on 26 October, the tour continues at Knust in Hamburg, before his beats fill the speakers at Gretchen in Berlin on 27 October.
The 64-year-oldDJ Krush, with his instrumental hip-hop, has been regarded as one of the pioneers of turntablism since the 1990s and remains a key figure in the Japanese underground scene to this day. In the summer of 2026, his 14th album to date, TOKYØHUM, was released, and he will be performing tracks from it in Germany this autumn.

Focus on the essentials
On TOKYØHUM , as usual, influences from classic old-school culture are evident, as is his love of jazz and soul. His live performances behind the decks are just as streamlined as his music, with a clear focus on the essentials: beats to nod your head to, dance to and let yourself go with. In October, we’ll finally be able to experience this for ourselves once again in Mannheim, Hamburg and Berlin.
