Midnightlife Crisis

Pinkman • 2023

»Midnightlife Crisis« makes a statement: The album by Credit 00 aka Alexander Dorn, released on Pinkman, speaks the language that pulls you into the after-hours at eight o’clock in the morning. After starting 2023 with his EP »No More Sad Trance«, Dorn paves his way into »Midnightlife Crisis« with the single release »Hope«. But what is the crisis? Twelve genre-spanning tracks pave the way back to the future and pay homage to the dancefloor as it should be. Or, on the contrary, the dancefloor becomes the hope for escapism in a time when everything else is falling apart: »I see you shaking on the floor, that gives me hope, gives me hope«. From techno to the futuristic sounds of Blade Runner, »Midnightlife Crisis« has it all. Whether in the middle of the night or in the early hours of the morning, Credit 00 delivers. From »Music is a Spiritual Thing« to »Villa Park 911« Dorn turns up the synths, makes police sirens wail, car tyres squeal and invites you to step onto the spaceship.  An odyssey of possibilities, where the decades merge into a single mash-up of passing cars.
