Karen Willems is a Belgian drummer, percussionist and composer, born in Belgium in 1979. With a background in rock and pop, she works at the intersection of improvised music, sound art, theatre and contemporary composition. Her projects include Inwolves and Terre Sol; she has also collaborated with Zwerm, Aidan Baker and Fred Frith, amongst others.
