gamut inc will perform live on 22 May 2026 at Berlin’s Auenkirche. There, the duo will play the city’s newly modernised second-largest organ, which has been fully renewed technically after more than 120 years and also served as the recording site for their latest album RADIATING. It is their first album for a computer-controlled pipe organ.

Algorithms in the nave
For more than 15 years, Marion Wörle and Maciej Śledziecki have been experimenting with the MIDI-controlled organ, making them one of the defining projects of the New Organ Movement. The organ is treated here like a giant acoustic synthesiser. Using algorithms, they generate sonic movements that would not be possible by human hand: dense, overlapping structures that spread through the nave and continuously change as they unfold.
The music originally emerged under reduced conditions as part of the Aggregate Festival 2025, curated by gamut inc themselves, and was later adapted specifically to the Auenkirche. The release concert in May will also take place within the framework of Aggregate, which has established itself in Berlin as a platform for contemporary organ music.
