Abstraxion, aka Harold Boué, is a chameleon of electronic music. Over the past two decades, the French producer and DJ has carved out his own niche in a way that is neither predictable nor boring. He fuses Italo disco, early trance, and 90s progressive house into a fluid mix that not only fills dance floors, but also makes people’s heads spin.
As the founder of Biologic Records and the creative mind behind some of the most influential underground events in Marseille, Abstraxion is a creative mind who is constantly reinventing himself. As a DJ, his goal is not to play the perfect set list, but to captivate and surprise the audience.
No Void between Worlds
Since 2024, Abstraxion lives between Marseille and Stockholm – two cities that couldn’t be more different musically. But that’s exactly what he seems to like. He’s not only interested in the music, but also in the atmosphere, the vibe. This is what he brings to Stockholm, where he has started a new series of events called “Bisou”. His musical roots, however, lie in the underground scene of Marseille, where he launched an inclusive, queer-friendly party series as the initiator of “Mouillette”. No mainstream acts, but the attitude he represents for his scene. This is also reflected in his music: his productions, released on labels such as Hivern Discs and Dischi Autunno, are not about what’s “in” at the moment, but about what comes from the gut.
With his EP Void Sequence, Abstraxion once again shows how he explores the boundaries between genres and brings a fresh perspective to 90s progressive house. The EP brings not only nostalgic vibes, but also a unique energy that goes beyond the usual. When Abstraxion plays a set, you immediately feel that it’s not just about the sound, but the experience he creates with it. And the journey is far from over.
