Ambient Techno

**Ambient Techno is an atmospheric variant of Techno with reduced tempos, expansive synthesizer pads, and a focus on sonic moods rather than pure danceability. Originating in the early 1990s, the genre serves as a bridge between club techno and so-called listening music. It combines the repetitive structure of electronic dance music with the sonority and serenity of ambient – often characterized by fluid textures, subtle rhythms, and introspective depth.
