Marcos Valle has released so many albums that it’s easy to lose track. But at over 80 years of age, he has no intention of stopping. In June, he will be traveling to Denmark, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands – including a stop in Hamburg.

One sound, many colors
Since the 1960s, Valle’s mix of bossa nova, jazz, funk and pop has characterized not only the Brazilian but also the international scene. Songs like “Nova Bossa Nova” or “Mentira (Chega De Mentira)” are classics. And yet Valle remains open to new influences – that’s what makes his style so exciting.
