Guts brings Havana to Berlin: The French producer and DJ is coming to Hole44 for a single concert in Germany. On January 28, 2023, he will present his album »Estrellas,« an Afro-Cuban co-production between Senegal and Cuba. More than 25 musicians worked on it under the direction of Guts – despite Corona, visa problems and a broken foot.
And: »Estrellas« has become pura vida. An album between rum rhythms and salsa atmosphere, for which one pours oneself two Cuba Libre at the darkest time of the year.
Concert and film screening
In addition to the presentation of the album, Guts will show a video documentary about its creation. At the concert in Hole44, you can find out how the 16 songs were created in 15 days in a studio in Dakar. The Cuban guitarist Norberto Rodriguez will support the Guts concert. Afrosideral aka Kumar Sublevao-Beat will also perform a live set.
