After six long years the Australian band Hiatus Kaiyote releases their new album. Exclusively on HHV Records »Mood Valiant« will be available in a limited Dark Green Vinyl Edition.

After a long wait, Australian band Hiatus Kaiyote will release their third album »Mood Valiant« on Brainfeeder on June 25, 2021. The twice Grammy-nominated quartet from Melbourne took their time for the successor of the celebrated “Choose Your Weapon” not without reason. Because singer Naomi “Nai Palm” Saalfield had yet to overcome her breast cancer, diagnosed at the end of 2018 – and then, of course, COVID-19 stepped in the way. The fact that the band, despite all this, does not let itself be diverted from its positive-grooving neo-soul and smoothly melting R’n’B, gives hope for better times. The first single »Get Sun«, for which Brazilian legend Arthur Verocai arranged the horns and strings, also exudes this optimism.
Exclusively on HHV Records »Mood Valiant« will be available in a limited Dark Green Vinyl Edition.
