The true spirit of Jazz
In addition to various keyboards and percussion, Rodriguez also plays bass, guitar and clarinet on his new album. Rodriguez not only shows what he can do, but in a way personifies the spirit of jazz: with elements of jazz, gospel, hip-hop, classical music and electronica, the musician draws on the full range of elements and skillfully combines them with a freedom that is at the heart of jazz music. He thus succeeds in building a bridge between tradition and modernity and taking his audience on a musical journey that is both sophisticated and emotionally moving. In this way, the Los Angeles-based producer not only pays tribute to the history of jazz, but also paves a way into the future that sounds as innovative as it is headstrong.
