Open your ears for a week of sound experiments: The Gaswerk Music Days, the summer festival organized by the Gaswerksiedlung Berlin studio community, is entering a new round from July 12 to 19, 2025 – with a significantly expanded program, new venues, and many musical surprises. Under the title Radical Live Music, the most diverse forms of expression will come together this year: electronic music, African rhythms, krautrock, avant-pop, improvisation and dance music will enter into a dialogue.

New alliances, new contexts
The festival creates spaces away from commercial structures – for experimental club sound, noise approaches and unusual aesthetic combinations. Two festival days in cooperation with the Nyege Nyege Festival kick off the festival and are dedicated to African music cultures. This will be followed by a record fair (Wednesday) and a day dedicated to technological innovations and new players in music production (Thursday). On the weekend, artists such as Sonic Interventions, J. Wiltshire, Andrea Belfi & Nazanin Noori, Shackleton and many more. The festival sees itself as a platform for sonic border crossings – open, networked and independent. The complete festival program can be found on the festival homepage.
