The third studio album of The Free Design, »Heaven/Earth«, gets another reissue. The band around the siblings Chris, Sandy and Bruce Dedrick was considered as »underground« during its time and was compared with bands like The Beach Boys. In the recent past, musicians like Madlib, Gilles Peterson or Koushik showed up as fans. The sound moves between folk and sunshine pop and is always accompanied by the psychedelic charm of the late sixties. In total there are eleven songs on the album produced by Enoch Light. Among them is a cover version of »If I Were A Carpenter«, which was originally written by Tim Hardin. In addition to the regular pressing on black vinyl, there will also be a limited green vinyl edition of the record exclusively available from HHV Records.
