Self Surrender

Delsin • 2025

With Self Surrender, Claudio PRC presents his most introspective work to date. It is an album that leads through light and shadow, exploring new spheres in the process. This LP unfolds like a meditation, carried by silence, depth and controlled tension. The Sardinian-born, Berlin-based producer consciously leaves the familiar paths of classic techno without being unfaithful to himself. Instead, he explores transitions between dub, ambient, deep techno and acid-soaked ecstasy.

The introduction is calm and almost fragile – flowing surfaces, echoes, reduced rhythms. But with each track it becomes clearer that this is not a retreat, but a conscious opening that begins within and aims for clarity. The first half of the album remains minimal and reflective. Then the mood changes and heavy kick drums and dense textures build the tension. Everything sounds ghostly and at the same time deeply rooted, so that the energy rises, but never at the expense of depth. Self Surrender is not a dancefloor album, but a work for the spaces in between. For long nights and a sensual avant-garde. The end is an ethereal finale, transformed into sound. Not a loud climax, but a quiet dissolution. An album like a prayer spoken in frequencies.
