The Water Tower in Prenzlauer Berg is not only the oldest of its kind in Berlin – it also has a complex history. At the second edition of the FRAMED FEST this history becomes tangible: In the underground vaults, 25 artists will explore the themes of dialogue and healing. From June 5 to June 29, 2025, Israeli multimedia artist Yael Bartana presents her neon poetry as part of the exhibition HOMESICK.
Art between Underground and Connection
In addition to lectures and workshops, the program also includes performances – many of them in the form of dialogues. For example, bassist Haggai Cohen-Milo, saxophonist Emma Rawicz and vibraphonist James Shipp will celebrate the release of their album Gravitation at the first of three concerts in the jazz evening CONNECTION. The evening All the way around will be multidisciplinary, with US dancer Meg Stuart meeting sound artist Mariana Carvalho, among others.
