On 12 March 2026, SO SORRY will perform at Gretchen in Berlin. The Berlin-based quartet combines soft, pared-back arrangements with influences from jazz, pop and R’n’B, positioning their songs deliberately from a FLINTA* perspective.

Seriously ironic

The consciously ironic band name points to the core themes of their songs: visibility, self-empowerment and questioning social expectations to hold back or apologise. Musically, the band remains restrained, while lyrically and politically they take a clear position.

On vocals is Zuza Jasinska, accompanied by Shanice Ruby-Bennett on bass, Käthe Johanning on keys and Lenny Rehm on drums. Since forming in 2023, SO SORRY have become a fixture of Berlin’s live music scene and have appeared, among other places, at the XJAZZ Festival.
