Texas trio Khruangbin have announced their fourth full-length album, »A LA SALA«. The album will be released April 5, 2024 via Dead Oceans. A Europe-exclusive coloured vinyl edition will be available only from HHV-Records. After two years of selling out venues in the US and Europe and the successful EP »Texas Moon« in collaboration with soul giant Leon Bridges, Laura Lee, Mark Speer and DJ Johnson have returned to the studio to continue their catchy psychedelic sound.
Reflective and festive
Khruangbin have revisited ideas they have left lying around over the years – spontaneous inspirations and ideas from the hustle and bustle of everyday life characterise the band’s sound. The single »A Love International«, which comes with a summery, surreal music video, is already available as a foretaste. Not only is the cover of the new album inspired by Belgian artist René Magritte, but the song itself is woven into a dreamy nostalgia, adding an introspective yet celebratory note to the band’s repertoire.
