Spatial research by four musical improvisers: al.so met at XJAZZ in Berlin and then came together in rural Gloucestershire. No clear objective, no grid, just a desire to experiment and a set of highly developed skill sets.

al.so are Moses Yoofee, co-founder of the Moses Yoofee Trio and winner of the German Jazz Prize; harpist Miriam Adefris, Floating Points collaborator and co-founder of the jazz trio Flur; Berlin saxophonist Marius Max, a member of the underground collective Sonic Interventions; and Robert Henriques, modular synthesiser expert and contributor to projects with Philip Glass and Patti Smith.

Quite the line-up.

Their collaborative EP portunes will be released by Leiter Verlag on 20 November 2026. It is available exclusively via HHV in a limited coloured-vinyl edition.
