Ecoutes Au Vert celebrates the release party of »Ayo Ke Disco« on 7 February 2025 at Sameheads in Berlin-Neukölln, no less than one of our compilations of the past year. For the compilation, Alice Whittington, who goes by the DJ name of Norsicaa , has compiled ten disco and boogie tracks from Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines that were created between 1974 and 1988. On this evening, Norsicaa will be DJing for the first time in Berlin and will not only be bringing along and playing the original records from the compilation released by Soundway.
Off to the disco
The evening will be rounded off by Rena Volvo, whose groovy Italo disco sets from the Automaticamore Disconights are notorious, and Cobeia from Ecoutes Au Vert, who will get the party going. »Ayo Ke Disco« means »off to the disco«, so let’s get going.
