Peki Momés’ self-titled debut is a lucky dip of swirling disco vibes, psychedelic shimmer, synth flourishes, oriental grooves and flashes of Japanese pop. Light in tone, the music smooths over genre boundaries with elegant ease. Over this, Peki Momés sings in Turkish – and what’s remarkable is how naturally aged textures sit alongside gleaming polish.

Although she only began recording her own music in 2024, the Leipzig-based artist made the album with a group of jazz-affiliated collaborators. The wide range of influences suggests that this distinctive sonic blend is the result of many years of musical exploration – it’s the only way to explain how effortlessly these styles come together.

Released on 12 September 2025 via Mocambo Records, Peki Momés is also available in an HHV Records exclusive edition – limited to 100 copies on turquoise vinyl for anyone wanting to collect, not just listen.

Her debut single »Göç Mevsimi« was the first signal – its B-side »Rüya« even made it into Iggy Pop’s BBC 6 radio show. Since then, buzz has grown around one of the year’s most exciting new artist albums.
