Andy Baxter originally only wanted to experiment on his drums. However, Robohands quickly became a more extensive project in which the London-born composer revives many different musical pasts. The multi-instrumentalist will be coming to Hamburg for a concert on October 1, 2024.

Thirty-three minutes of hypnosis
Since his first LP in 2018, Baxter has released a whopping seven LPs, five of which are studio albums. The latest, »Palms«, takes you back to the 60s and 70s and brings saturated analog tape recordings back to life. A bit of glitch here, a bit of dreamy guitars and keyboards there. In between, the drums send you into a thirty-three-minute hypnosis: seventeen tracks that melt into one and a trip-like aftermath as a reward for the musical journey: Ultimately, music that belongs on stage.
