Nu jazz is a subgenre of electronic music that combines elements of jazz with the synthetic sounds of electronic music and appeared at the end of the 1990s. The genre is not precisely defined. Stylistically, influences from Brazilian music and Latin jazz can be observed, as well as a proximity to drum’n’bass.
