The pioneering French multi-instrumentalist and former member of prog-rock outfit Magma, Teddy Lasry sadly passed away May 10, 2025. He left a catalogue of works with his band and as a solo artist that spanned rock, electronic music and jazz. Known for his incredible musical ability, playing flute and other wind instruments, keyboards and percussion – he was a restless innovator. Across a much-lauded career he released landmark albums including »E=MC2«, »Tutti Flutti« and »Love Valley«.
A timeless groove classic
With 1975’s »Action Printing«, TeddyLasry created an absolute cult classic. It features a unique blend of funk, electronic and disco elements. A forward-looking album, built around groove and catchy melodies – it feels both like a record from its era and completely in a space of its own. Original and early pressings are rare and highly sought after by collectors.
Now, a reissue is set for release on April 11, 2025. Exclusively available at HHV Records in a strictly limited Yellow Vinyl Edition of just 100 copies.
