Miles Davis

Miles Davis (born Miles Dewey Davis III, May 26, 1926 in Alton, Illinois; died September 28, 1991 in Santa Monica, California) was an American jazz trumpeter, composer and bandleader. With albums such as Birth of the Cool, Kind of Blue, In a Silent Way and Bitches Brew, he decisively shaped cool jazz, modal jazz, jazz-rock and fusion.
