Stella Zekri has been living in Berlin since 2015. What are you doing in Berlin? Well, right… First you collect records. Then you play records. Then you organise events to play records (in her case »Body Language« with Camilla Rae and Caitlin Russell). Along the way, you become an expert (in her case, on house, disco and acid). You start talking to other musicians (Ed Longo, for example), become a musician yourself, sing in a six-piece band (Stella & the Longos), release a record (»Détends-Toi«), go on tour, play in China. So far, so ordinary.
But there is a difference. Stella Zekri is extraordinary, captivating .She has a nose for the situation, she takes you by the hand, she creates an atmosphere of well-being as a DJ, singer and presenter. Don’t believe it? We’ll prove it to you on Thursday, 20 February 2025 at the HHV Store in Berlin-Friedrichshain, where she’ll play a two-hour DJ set for us. A heartwarming event. Come by!
