We just featured Lefto Early Bird here for a guest mix, and now you and us have the opportunity to see the Belgian DJ perform his craft on the spot in Berlin. On June 10, 2022, at the first J.A.W. event in Berlin in – wait, we have to skim through the calendar – in two and a half years.
This break was not entirely voluntary, as we all know, so the expectation of a return is all the brighter. In addition to Lefto Early Bird, there will be other artists from the J.A.W. family, Coco Maria and Tone B. Nimble, who will send us on a wild ten-hour journey at the newly opened OXI Club in Berlin.

Coco Maria, born in Mexico, has been spreading the finest Afro-Latino rhythms as a DJ for years. She also has her own radio show on Giles Peterson’s Worldwide FM and has put together compilations for Les Disques Bongo Joe. Tone B. Nimble is a Chicago original. He was one half of the hip-hop duo All Natural, runs the Al-Tone Edits label with Al Bumz, and represents a range of music from classic soul to disco to house to French Afro boogie.
