Kutiman releases with »Open« his sixth studio album on October 14, 2022. The Israeli artist-composer packs therefore the Kutiman’s genre suitcase – between the »sound of Can, Arthur Verocai and Tame Impala« could be classified the new productions. Kutiman, who goes by the name Ophir Kutiel and hails from Jerusalem, didn’t have to heave any excess baggage into the studio for this. On the contrary: the songs breathe Afrobeat, smell of soul and taste like funk from the last Birkenstock trip to Southeast Asia.
